Ducts - Keep air supply registers and vents clear to allow air to flow freely throughout the room. Do not block the return air registers. Each home has its very own air register distribution, locate these registers in your home and keep furniture away from blocking the vents air flow.
Closing air supply vents to a room
When you close vents of your air conditioning system you could also throw off the balance of the system, change the way air is distributed, a properly installed air ducts systems are designed to a specific volume of air flow by blocking an air vent will cause a back presure resulting in additional air flow to other rooms, may cause sweating of the duct work or cause the thermostat to detect temperatures which make the rest of the house uncomfortable.

Changing Filters -
“how often should I replace my HVAC filter?” many customer we encounter do not even realize that they have an air filter on their system, Many have not ever performed a maintenance either, we understand If you are having difficulty finding your Filter location or need further assistance schedule a Preventative Maintenance Today!. Our Trained Staff will be more than helpful in helping you with these questions. Filter should be changed on a Monthly basis in some cases every 2 to 3 months, Media filters should be replaced every 4-6 months or as needed. Maintence should be performed at a minimum of once per year it is recommended by the manufacturer twice per year or every six months. The central air conditioner also needs a blower motor – which is usually part of the air handler– to blow the cool air through the duct system. The only way to ensure that your new air conditioner performs at its rated efficiency is to replace your heating system at the same time. It’s especially recommended if your furnace is over 15 years old. If you purchase a new energy-efficient air conditioner but connect it to an older furnace and blower motor, your system will not perform to its rated efficiency.
